SHAUN DAVEY is an award-winning Irish composer with many year's experience in film, theatre and concert music, including wide experience in arranging and recording studio production. International music credits include scores for The Hanging Gale, Ballykissangel series 1-3 and Loving for the BBC, David Copperfield for Hallmark, and feature films including Twelfth Night, Waking Ned Devine and The Tailor of Panama. Twice nominated for a BAFTA, his awards include an Ivor Novello for best film music, a TRIC for best UK signature theme and a Golden Reel Award. In the UK his theatre work includes nine seasons as composer with the Royal Shakespeare Company. In the USA his work off and on Broadway has been recognised with a Tony nomination and a New York Critics Award, in California by a San Diego Critics Award and, more recently his songs and music for Pericles were nominated for a Drama Desk Award. He has recorded seven albums for the Tara label with a wide range of soloists and his concert music regularly sells out performances at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. New concert work; Nora Barnacle and One Hundred Years a Nation (1916 centenary commission).
