Pilgrim Commissioned

The Relief of Derry Symphony This
melodic and descriptive symphony was conceived against a background
of the early years of the Northern Ireland peace process. It
was composed by Shaun for orchestra, uilleann pipes, solo female
vocal, soprano saxaphone, with pipeband and auxiliary trumpets

unique suite was composed in 2003 by Shaun Davey in partnership
with percussionist Noel Eccles as the musical framework of the
Opening Ceremony of the Dublin Special Olympics, staged before

Waking Ned Devine Shaun
Davey composed and arranged the score for the feature film 'Waking
Ned' in 1998. The film, a comic drama, was particularly successful
in the USA and featured the Scottish actor, the late Ian Bannen
